We measure the home — exterior and interior as appropriate to the assignment — and produce a scaled floor sketch with calculated areas. The result documents gross living area (GLA), the breakdown of levels, and any below-grade basement area, which is reported separately from above-grade living area following standard residential measurement practice. Open areas such as stairwells and two-story foyers are handled consistently with accepted guidance. The deliverable is a measurement summary and sketch, not a valuation.
